  • 4 medium baking potatoes
  • 2 Tbsp margarine or butter, melted
  • paprika, salt and peppers, or 1 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Step 1

Heat oven to 400. Grease 9 inch square pan. Peel potatoes and place in cold water. To make potato fan, place potato in large spoon. Using sharp knife and without cutting completely thru potato, slice potato crosswise into 1/8 inch slices. Return to cold water. Repeat with remaining potatoes. Drain potatoes; place in greased pan. Brush potatoes with half of the margarine. Bake at 400 for 40 minutes. Brush with remaining margarine and sprinkle with desired seasoning. Bake an additional 18 to 22 minutes or until potatoes are tender and lightly browned.
