Ingredients
- 1 egg room temp
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temp
- 1 cup sour milk
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp potato starch
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/2 cup nuts, pieces or chopped
- 2 cups chocolate chips, semi sweet

Preparation
Step 1
1. preheat ovento 350
2. cream butter and sugar together until fluffy
3. add egg and beat another 2 min
4. add sour milk and beat until smooth
5. whisk flour, starch, baking soda and salt cinnamon, nutmet and cloves together
6. all flour mixture to batter mix until combined
7. fold nuts and chips into batter
8. pour batter 3/4 full in tins
9. bake for 15-20 min using toothpick method
10 cool 5 min before transfering to rack
sugar glaze
2 cups powdered sugar
2-4 tbsp orange juice
1 tbsp butter
pour sugar into bowl, gradually add juice until glaze reaches a pourable but not too thin consistency, cream butter into glaze flost cooled cakes
