Ingredients
- 3 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
- 2 to 2 -1/2 cups powdered sugar
- food coloring
- sugar
Details
Preparation
Step 1
Mix the cream cheese and peppermint extract.
Gradually add the powdered sugar and knead until no longer sticky.
Divide into 4 portions.
Knead in food colors of your choice.
Shape into 3/4" balls and roll in sugar.
Flatten balls with a fork.
Let dry at room temperature.
Store loosely covered in refrigerator.
Yield: 6 to 7 dozen
