Fettuccine with Broccoli and Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 Lb white fettuccine
  • 1/2 Cup sesame oil
  • 1 Cup diced chicken breast
  • 2 Tsp minced garlic
  • 2 Tsp slivered ginger
  • 3 Cups broccoli florets, packed
  • 1/2 Cup sherry
  • 1/2 Cup soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1/2 Cup parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cook fettuccine in boiling water

2. Heat oil in wok until smoking hot

3. Stir fry chicken for 30 seconds

4. Add garlic, ginger, and broccoli, stir fry 1 minute

5. Add sherry and soy sauce, simmer 1 minute

6. When fettuccine is al dente, drain and shock with 1 cup cold water

7. Add fettuccine and butter to wok and toss

8. Add parmesan and toss again

9. Garnish with toasted almonds (optional)
