Bisquick Cranberry Nut Coffee Cake 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2/3 cup cranberry sauce with whole berries

Preparation

Step 1

Mix: brown sugar, walnuts and cinnamon; set aside.

Mix: Bisquick, granulated sugar, egg and milk. Beat vigorously 1/2 minute. Grease 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan with butter. Spread batter evenly in pan. Sprinkle with nut mixture, spoon cranberry sauce on top.

Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Ice while warm.

1 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla or lemon extract
Approximately 1 teaspoon water
