Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup crisco
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 pkg (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a large bowl, cream the butter, spry and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, pudding mix and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.

2. Drop by rounded tablespoons 1 inch apart onto ungreased baking sheets; flatten slightly with a glass.
Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
