Ingredients
- 3 half chicken breasts with bone
- 3 bay leaves
- 10 whole all spice
- celery leaves
- 1 small onion, cut in pieces
- water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 packages knox gelatin

Step 1
Combine first 5 ingredients and add water to just cover and cook until chiken is tender. Remove chicken, cool slightly and chop into very fine pieces.
Strain liquid. Put liquid back into pan with chicken pieces. Bring to boil. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix gelatin with a little cold water. Then add to chicken and stir. When cool in pan, put it into a small loaf pan and refrigerate. Before it really gells stir a few times so chicken doesn't just settle on the bottom.
Serve with beets and fried potatoes and a piece of hard tack with cheese on it.
