Ingredients

  • 1/2

    lb. spaghetti

  • 1

    egg, beaten

  • 1/2

    C. grated parmesan cheese

  • 1

    C. cottage cheese

  • 1/2

    C. mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2

    bag frozen, pre-cooked meatballs

  • 1/2

    jar (or 12 oz.) Prego pasta sauce (I use mushroom flavor, but use any variety you like)

Directions

Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and combine with beaten egg and parmesan cheese. Pack spaghetti mixture into a deep-dish pie plate raising the sides and patting down the bottom. Spread the cottage cheese on the noodle "crust" and then cover the cottage cheese with the Prego sauce. Microwave the meatballs just until warm and cut each meatball in half. Arrange meatball halves on top of spaghetti sauce. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Sprinkle on mozzarella cheese and bake for 5 minutes more until cheese melts. Let pie sit for a few minutes before slicing.
