Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- 2/3 cups sugar
- 1-1/2 cups plain low fat Greek yogurt
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Preparation
Step 1
In a heavy pot, combine sugar and milk and stir until mixture is hot - not boiling. Stir about 1/2 cup of the hot milk mixture into the beaten egg. Then stir the egg mixture back into the pot. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat 6 to 8 minutes or until mixture is thickened and coats a metal spoon.
Remove from heat and cool. Blend in vanilla and yogurt. Freeze in your ice cream maker.
