Ingredients

  • 2 cans of crushed pineapple (8 oz. each)
  • 1 can of whole-berry cranberry sauce (16 oz.)
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 tsp. of ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. of salt
  • 1 to 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced
  • 3 green onions, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Drain pineapple well; pat dry with paper towels.
Stire together pineapple and next 4 ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes or until thickened, stirring often.
Remove from heat, and stir in jalapenos and green onions.
Cover and chill until ready to serve.
