Ingredients
- 1.5 # Ground Beef
- 1 Small Yellow Onion Diced
- 1 Small Green Bell Pepper Diced
- 3 Cloves Garlic Minced
- EVOO
- 1 Package McCormicks Chili Mix
- 1/2 T Chili Powder
- 1/2 T Cumin
- 1 28 oz Can Tuttorosso Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 15 oz Can Hunt's Tomatoes Diced
- 2 16 oz Cans Bush's Red Kidney Beans Drained & Rinsed
- 1/2 - 1 C Water, Not Too Thin
- 8 - 10 Dashes (1t) Texas Pete
- Salt & Pepper
- Sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Large (8 qt) Cast Iron Pot Medium Heat Add EVOO, Beef, Onions, Pepper & Garlic. Saute until Brown & Soft, Drain Grease. Return to Heat, Add Chili Mix, Chili Powder, Cumin, Texas Pete & Tomatoes, Heat until Bubbly.
Add Beans, Lower Heat & Simmer Long Time.
Add Water as Needed.
Add Salt, Pepper & Sugar to Taste.
Serve with Grated Cheddar Cheese, Sour Cream & Corn Bread.
