Ingredients
- 6 5 to 6-ounce cans chunk light tuna, drained (squeeze out remaining liquid)
- 1-1/2 cups coarse panko breadcrumbs
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 7-oz can chopped green chiles, drained
- 4-6 green onions, thinly sliced
- 2-3 teaspoons dill
- 6-8 drops jalapeno or regular tobasco sauce or to taste
- ground pepper
- Olive oil for cooking

Step 1
1. Combine tuna, breadcrumbs, onion, mayonnaise, chiles, dill, tobasco sauce, and ground pepper in a medium bowl. Mix well. Shape into 5-6 patties. Mixture should be somewhat dry but hold together well. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes prior to cooking.
2. Coat a nonstick skillet with olive oil and fry the tuna patties for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
*Alternative cooking method: Spray aluminum foil with nonstick spray and add 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil. Preheat foil on grill until olive oil is hot. Add burgers and cook over medium to medium-high heat until browned on both sides.
