Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose-flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp butter (1 stick to make it creamier)
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 slightly beaten egg
  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees

Step 1

1. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Combine thoroughly.
2. Cut butter in until mixture resembles course crumbs.
3. Add milk and eggs, stir until dough clings together.
4. Roll dough out into 1/2 inch thickness. Cut dough into triangles and place on cookie sheet. Brush beaten egg on dough.
5. Sprinkle with coarse crystalized sugar.
Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
