Nutty Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Ingredients

• 3/4 Cup firmly packed brown sugar
• 1/2 Cup sugar
• 1 Cup butter, softened
• 1 Egg
• 1 1/2 Tsp vanilla
• 2 1/4 Cups flour
• 1 Tsp baking soda
• 1/2 Tsp salt
• 1 (8oz) bar milk chocolate, cut into 1/4 inch pieces

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 375
In a large mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, sugar, butter, egg, and vanilla
Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed (1-2 minutes)
Reduce speed to low, add flour, baking soda, and salt; continue beating until well mixed (1-2 minutes)
By hand, stir in chocolate
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto cookie sheets
Bake for 9-11 minutes or until lightly browned
