Ingredients

  • 3 pkg quick rising yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine or butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 5-1/2 cups flour or more
  • 1-1/2 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Scald milk.

Dissolve yeast in the 3/4 cup warm water.

Add to milk: sugar, salt, butter, eggs. Slowly stir in flour.

Knead about 8 minutes. Place in greased bowl, cover and let rise until double, about 30 minutes. Punch dough down and form into balls. Put right into oven and bake @ 400 degrees for about 12-15 minutes.
