  • 1 t. [1 Teelöffel] butter
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, diced
  • 1 lb [0.4 kg] ground beef
  • 1 t.[1 Teelöffel] cumin
  • 1 T. [1 Esslöffel] adobo sauce
  • 2 c. béchamel cheese sauce (http://www.keyingredient.com/recipes/946625033/bchamel-cheese-sauce-from-ultimate-nachos/)
  • 10 oz. [300 g] tortilla chips
  • 7 oz. [199 g.] sliced pickled jalepenos
  • 1/4 c. [28 g.] shredded cheese
  • 10 stalks of cilantro, stems removed and finely chopped
  • Sour cream
  • Guacamole
  • Salsa

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 375 F / 200 C.
2. In a large pan, melt butter. Sauté the onion and garlic in the butter. Once translucent, add the ground beef, cumin, and adobo sauce and brown the beef. After the beer is cooked, put in a mesh strainer and drain out the fat.
3. Distribute the chips into two baking dishes. Pour the béchamel sauce over the chips. Add the beef, jalepenos, and cilantro. Top with the shredded cheese.
4. Bake for 5 - 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
5. Serve with dollops of sour cream, homemade guacamole, and salsa.
