Loaded Chocolate Bark

This salty-sweet Loaded Chocolate Bark recipe will appeal to just about anyone! Its sugary base perfectly complements the bites of crunchy snacks!
Tip: Wrap a rectangular piece of this bark in foil, then in decorative paper. Tape the paper together, and you’ve got a homemade candy bar gift!

Ingredients
- 1 lb semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 2/3 cup crushed potato chips
- 1/3 cup crushed pretzels
- 1/4 cup chopped roasted, salted cashews
- 1/4 cup chopped roasted, salted pistachios

Preparation
Step 1
Place 12 ounces of the semisweet chocolate into a heat safe bowl, reserving the other 4 ounces, and set aside.
Pour the water into a medium sauce pot, about 1/3 of the way full, and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat and then place the bowl of chocolate on top of the pot. Let it sit for 3–4 minutes.
Remove the bowl from the sauce pot and lightly whisk the chocolate until fully melted. Add the reserved 4 ounces of chocolate and whisk until completely melted.
Pour the melted chocolate onto a silicone baking mat and with an offset spatula, spread the chocolate to an even thickness of a 1/8”. Immediately top with the crushed potato chips, pretzels, cashews, and pistachios.
Let the bark sit at room temperature until the chocolate hardens completely, then roughly chop into pieces. For more even pieces cut carefully with a knife.
