Ingredients

  • 1 lb round steak
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 3 stalks celery, sliced
  • 1 sm onion (1/2 - 3/4 cup)
  • 1 can water chestnuts (sliced and drained)
  • 1 can bamboo chutes (drained)
  • 3 Tbs sugar
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube, dissolved in 1 cup hot water
  • 3 cups cooked rice

Preparation

Step 1

Cut steak into pieces. Brown.

Add other ingredients (except rice)

Simmer uncovered until vegetables are tender. About 10-15 minutes.

Serve on hot rice.
