Steaks with Brandy Cream Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 T olive oil
- 4 1" beef tenderloin steaks
- salt/pepper
- 2 c fresh mushrooms
- 2 green onions, bias sliced in 1"
- pieces
- 1/3 c brandy
- 1 c whipping cream

Step 1

Heat oil in pan. Salt/pepper steaks. Add to skillet. Cook 2 min on each side til brown. Transfer to baking dish. Bake uncovered 10-13 minutes.
SAUCE:
Cook mushrooms & onion in same pan. Remove from heat and add brandy. Simmer uncovered 4 minutes. Add cream. Bring to boil and boil gently 8 minutes, scrapping up bits in pan. Serve over steaks.
