  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 cups raw peanuts
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Step 1

Cook on medium high heat for about 5 minutes until candy thermometer reaches 250-265 degrees. Cook 5 minutes on hard boil stage. Wash down sides with water. Stir in nuts. Continue stirring about 5 minutes.
