Ingredients
- 1 clove(s) (medium) garlic clove(s), peeled
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 cup(s) light sour cream
- 1/3 cup(s) reduced-calorie mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp water
- 1/3 cup(s) chives, fresh, chopped
- 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, Italian (flat leaf), chopped
- 1/8 tsp black pepper, freshly ground, or to taste
- 1 tsp white wine vinegar, fresh lemon juice and/or water to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Put the garlic clove on a cutting board; sprinkle with salt. Finely chop garlic and then scrape it with the side of knife until a paste forms; place in a small bowl.
Add sour cream, mayonnaise and water; stir until smooth. Stir in chives, parsley and pepper until blended; cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour for flavors to blend. Thin out with vinegar, lemon juice and/or water if desired.
Yields about 2 tablespoons per serving.
