Ingredients
- Pie Crust
- The recipe makes a 10 inch wide pie
- Chris makes a lattice crust, but it could be a double crust
- 2 cups flour - she likes unbleached all purpose
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1 tsp salt
- 5-7 T cold water
- Mix flour shortening and salt together with your fingers until crumbly
- Add water a little at a time so it all comes together
- Divide in 2 and roll out
- If you want a little more flaky crust, add a little more shortening and less water
- Blueberry Filling
- 1 qt of blueberry pie filling or 2 cans of your favorite filling
- 4 med apples sliced thin 2-21/2 cups
- 3 T sugar
- 1 heaping T flour
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Preparation
Step 1
Mix apples sugar flour and cinnamon together
Fold in pie filling
Fill 10 inch wide pie shell
Bake 375 for 45 to 55 min depending on your oven- it's usually done when it is bubbling on edges and is a nice golden brown.
