Ingredients
- 8 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded
- 8 oz. swiss cheese, shredded
- 2 Tbs flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 12 oz. beer
- dash Tabasco
- 1 1-lb loaf french bread, cut into 1" cubes

Step 1
Mix cheeses, flour, salt, and pepper in large bowl. Rub cut clove of garlic around bottom and sides of fondue pot, or chafing dish. Pour in beer and heat slowly; gradually stir in cheese mixture, adding only a cup at a time and stirring after each addition until cheese is melted and blended. (Do not allow mixture to become too hot.) Stir in Tabasco. Serve immediately over low heat, stirring constantly.
