Ingredients
- Sour cream icing:
- 2/3 cup margarine
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 lg eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 2 1/4 cups sifted all-purpuse flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup sauerkraut, rinsed, drained and chopped
- 1 6oz pkg semisweet choc chips
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 cups confectioner's sugar

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350, grease and flour 2 8 inch round baking pans. Cream tog margarine with sugar, beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift tog cocoa, flour, bak powder, bak soda and salt. Add dry mixture alternating with 1 cup water to the egg mixture, stir in sauerkraut. Spoon into pans, bake 30-35 min, let cool, then frost with icing...
Icing:
Melt choc chips with butter, blend in sour cream, vanilla and salt, add confectioner's sugar in stages until frosting gets thicker, blend well....
