Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

• 2 1/4 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1 (4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/8 teaspoon almond extract
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 2 cups chocolate chips

Step 1

1 Preheat oven 350 degrees. 2 Combine flour and baking soda. 3 In a large bowl beat brown sugar, sugar, butter, shortening, pudding mix, vanilla, and almond extract. 4 Mix until well blended. 5 Add eggs and mix well. 6 Beat in the flour mixture. 7 Stir in chocolate chips. 8 Drop by rounded teasponful and bake 10-12 minutes.
