Ingredients
- 2 sticks margarine
- 2 1/2 cups of flour
- 1 lb. Box light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- pinch of salt
- cup of chopped walnuts

Preparation
Step 1
1 stick of margarine and 1 ¼ cup flour and 1/3 cup of brown sugar into a dry dough with hands, press into bottom of 9 x 13 ungreased pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
In a saucepan, heat up the other stick of margarine along with remaining sugar and heat to a liquid – do not boil. Remove from fire. Stir in beaten eggs and add remaining ingredients. Pour over crust and bake it 350 for 25 minutes.
Let stand at least an hour.
