Ingredients
- 2 medium onions
- 2 peppers
- 2 cans tomato puree or fresh (7 cups)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh garlic (6 cloves) pressed
- 1 T oregano
- 2 T basil
- Italian Herb Seasoning to taste
- Bay leaves (3)
- Sugar (1/3 cup)
- 1 t allspice
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Olive oil

Step 1
Heat olive oil in dutch oven
Sautee onion and peppers
Add remaining ingredients
May use stewed chicken, ground beef, tofu, zucchini, oysters or shrimp over rice
All spices are added to taste, the amounts shown here may or may not be exactly right
