Ingredients

• 2 tbsp yeast
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1/3 cup lukewarm water
• mix and let sit 10 min till yeast is bubbly
• MIX
• 1 cup milk
• 1/2 cup butter
• 8 egg yolks
• 2 egg whites
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup raisins
• 1/2 cup orange juice
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 tsp salt
• 6 cups flour
• rind of 1 lemon

Preparation

Step 1

boil milk and add butter, cool.beat egg yolks, egg whites,till light, add sugar and dbeat again, add egg to milk, add OJ, rind , vanilla , salt and add yeast mixture, add raisins that have been soaked in hot water and coated in flour, add flour, knead and rise till double.fill coffee cans 1/3 full with dough, rise till double.
bake at 350 for 30 min or till cooked
