Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Cook ground beef thoroughly and drain.
Mix together chili powder, flour, cocoa powder, garlic powder, salt, and cumin in the bottom of a saucepan. Add a couple of tablespoons of water to dry mix to create a paste. Add remaining water and begin to cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture thickens. (about 5 minutes.) Remove from heat and stir in Tomato Sauce.
Spread out bread dough over a greased pizza pan or jelly roll pan and drizzle with olive oil. Spread olive oil over crust until crust is covered.
Spread sauce mixture over crust. (You can freeze extra sauce to use for enchiladas or another mexican pizza some other time.) Sprinkle cooked ground beef over sauce. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over meat, and top with black olives and sliced green onions.
Bake for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bottom of crust is golden brown. Remove from oven and top with lettuce and tomatoes. Serve with sour cream and salsa.
