Ingredients
- Italian Spaghetti Sauce -- see Italian Spaghetti sauce recipe for ingredients & instructions
- 1/2 pound Lasagna noodles
- 1 pound cottage cheese
- 1 package mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 pound sweet Italian sausage - frozen
- Meatballs -- see Meatball recipe for ingredients/instructions (rolled very small)
- Grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven 350 degrees
Slice frozen sausage into small slices (it is easier to slice this when still frozen)
Brown sausage in Electric Skillet
Place in Italian Spaghetti Sauce, reserving grease to cook meatballs in
Brown meatballs in the sausage fat
Add to Sauce
If any remaining fat, scrape into Sauce as this adds flavor
Cook up Lasagna noodles according to package directions, drain
In large rectangular pan, place a small amount of sauce in the bottom.
Next layer of noodles
Then layer of cheese (both cottage and mozzarella)
Add more sauce
Repeat until pan is filled ending up with sauce
Sprinkle with Grated Parmesan cheese
Cover with foil
Bake about 1 hour at 350 degrees
