Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs separated
- 1 1/14 cups flour
- 1 cup finely ground pecans
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Shell
Beat together butter, sugar and egg yolks
Stir in flour until well blended. Break off small pieces of dough and press into 1 inch tart shell
Filling
Combined pecans, powdered sugar, vanilla and egg whites
Spoon filling into shells and bake for 20 minutes at 350
