Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Instant coHee powder
- 2 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup very finely chopped or ground
- walnuts
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs

Step 1
Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes.
1. Mash instant coffee to fine powder.
Reserve. Sift flour and baking powder
onto wax paper; add walnuts.
2. Beat butter, sugar, eggs and coffee
in a medium-size bowl until smooth.
Stir in flour mi~ture until well blended.
3. Wrap dough in foiL. Chill 1 hour or
until firm enough to roll.
4. Grease 2 large cookie sheets.
5. Divide dough in half. Roll out each half on floured surface to a inch
thickness. Cut with floured round 2-inch cutter. Transfer to prepared
sheets, 1-inch apart.
6. Bake in preheated hot oven (400°)
for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly
