Ingredients

  • 3 lbs chicken parts (or one whole chicken cut into pieces) I think I used drumsticks and thighs
  • 1 lb bag baby carrots
  • 1 small diced onion
  • 1 lb frozen or fresh green beans
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper (I used all seasonings to taste)

Preparation

Step 1

Put vegetables in bottom of slow cooker and season to taste with salt, pepper, and basil. Stir.
Brown chicken pieces in a small amount of oil. Season to taste while browning.
Place chicken on top of vegetables.
Mix broth and wine. Pour over chicken.
Cover cook on low 8-10 hrs.
