Ingredients
- 1 nedium onion finely chopped
- 2 tbsp bacon fat or margarine
- 2 tbsp finely chopped celery leaves
- 3 cups boiling water
- 4 medium potatoes peeled amd cubed
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3 cups milk
Preparation
Step 1
melt fat and saute onions until ;ightly browned.add celery ,water,potaoes,salt and pepper.reduced heat to low and simmer,covered,about 15 minutesor until potatoes are tender,add milk and reheat to boiling point.
