Preparation

Step 1

Chop onion into quarters and place in food processor or blender. Add chilies, garlic and about 4 ounces of tomato sauce. Blend on high until mixture is finely chopped.

Add an additional 4 ounces of tomato sauce. Chop green onion into small chunks and add to mixture, blend on high speed for approx. 30 seconds.

Add remaining tomato sauce and lemon juice, rinse out sauce cans with water and pour water into the mixture. Add salt and pepper. Blend just until mixed.

Best if served chilled, however it can be eaten fresh out of the blender.

* Note: Keeps 3 to 4 weeks in the refrigerator.
WARNING: Mixture becomes hotter as it ages.
