Ingredients
- 1 (18.25 ounce) package devil's food cake mix
- 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan.
2. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, cherry pie filling, almond extract and 2 eggs by hard. Stir until well blended. Pour batter in prepared pan.
3. Bake for 25-30 minutes or unil it tests done in center. Cool while making the icing..
4. In a small saucepan, combine sugar, butter and milk. Boil, stirring constantly for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Immediately pour over partially cooled cake.
