Ingredients

  • Marinade:
  • 16 large button mushrooms
  • 1 cup of balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the marinade ingredients and mix thoroughly.

Combine all ingredients to make the marinade.

Remove the stalks from the mushrooms and put caps and stalks into a bowl.

Drizzle the marinade over the mushrooms, making sure they're thoroughly coated. Set aside for 15 minutes. Occasionally stir the marinating mushrooms.

Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees and place marinated mushrooms on a cooking tray. Roast for 15 minutes or until marinade has caramelised and mushrooms are cooked.
