Ingredients

  • Confectioners' Sugar Glaze:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground allspice
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
  • 1/2 cup vegetable shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease and lightly flour 10-inch Bundt pan. Set aside.

In bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder, allspice, baking soda, cinnamon and cloves. Add soup, shortening, eggs and water. With mixer at low speed, beat until well mixed, constantly scraping bowl. At high speed, beat 4 minutes, occasionally scraping bowl. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely on rack. Drizzle with Confectioners' Sugar Glaze.
