Ingredients

  • 2

    cups sugar, divided

  • 1

    cup butter flavored Crisco

  • 2

    eggs

  • 2

    TBL milk

  • 1

    tsp vanilla

  • cups all-purpose flour

  • 2

    tsp cream of tartar

  • 1

    tsp baking soda

  • ¾

    tsp salt

  • 2

    tsp cinnamon

Directions

1. Heat oven to 400 degrees 2. Combine 1/2 cups sugar, Crisco, eggs, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. 3. Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Add gradually to creamed mixture at low speed. Mix just until blended. Shape into 1 inch balls. 4. Combine remaining ingredients of 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon into small bowl. Roll dough balls in mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. 5. Bake at 400 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes. Remove to cooling rack.
