Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 1 6-ounce can tomato paste
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Dash of pepper
- 1 8-ounce package refrigerated flaky biscuits
- 1/3 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 6-oz package Mozzarella Cheese Slices

Step 1
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Brown meat, drain. Add green pepper, onion, tomato paste, water and seasonings; simmer 10 minutes. Line greased 9-inch pie plate with biscuits; sprinkle with 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese. Fill with 1/2 of meat mixture and 2 slices of mozzarella cheese. Top with remaining meat and parmesan cheese. Bake at 400 degrees 15 to 20 minutes. Cut remaining mozzarella cheese into strips; place on top of meat pie to form lattice. Return to oven until cheese melts.
6 to 8 servings.
