Ingredients

  • 1 to 3 fresh jalapenos (adjust to desired hotness, I use 1)
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 16-oz cans whole or diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt

Step 1

Cook jalapenos in water for about 30 minutes. Drain water, remove seeds and stems and cut each pepper into about 3 pieces.

Put jalepeno(s) and onions in blender; add a little juice from the tomatoes, garlic salt and onion salt. Blend until smooth. Pour remaining tomatoes and juice in blender and blend for a few seconds, leave chunky.
