Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves blanched, or whole almonds, walnut halves or cashews
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Line a baking sheet with foil. Butter the foil and set aside.
In a heavy 8" skillet combine nuts, sugar and butter. Cook over medium heat, carefully stirring constantly 5 to 7 minutes or till sugar melts and turns brown. Mixture may splatter.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. spread mixture on foil sheet, separate and cool. Store tightly covered.
