ITALIAN SAUSAGE, PEPPERS, AND ONIONS

Ingredients
- 6 (4 oz ) links sweet Italian sausage
- 2 T. olive oil or butter
- onions sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced I used 3
- bell peppers, sliced
- red bell peppers, sliced
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 cup chicken broth

Step 1
1. Place the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat, and brown on
sides. Remove from skillet. you can slice it but I left whole.
2. Heat oil in the skillet. Stir in the yellow onions, red onions, and
garlic, and cook 2 to 3 minutes. MIx in peppers. Season with basil, and
oregano. Stir in chicken broth. Continue to cook and stir until peppers
and onions are tender.
3. Put sausages in casserole. Pour vegetables over sausages.
4.Bake in 375 degree oven ( not covered) for 45 min. or until done.
