Layer Salad

  • Head of lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup diced green pepper
  • 1 pkg. frozen peas
  • 1 pint of Hellman's Mayonnaise
  • 8 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese
  • Jar of Bacos



Step 1

Break the lettuce into bite sized pieces and cover the bottom of pan. Next sprinkle celery and then onion slices. next the green pepper and peas. Spread the mayonnaise over all and sprinkle with the cheese and Bacos. Refrigerate for 24 hours with a tight seal. This makes a very large salad, it fills two 9x13 pans, so can be cut in half if desired.
