Ingredients

  • Dressing:
  • 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 head shredded cabbage
  • 4 chopped green onions
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 can chunk pineapple, drained
  • 1 pkg. Chicken Ramen noodles, crushed
  • Option: cooked cut up chicken breast
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • Seasoning pkt. from Ramen noodles

Preparation

Step 1

Toast sesame seeds and slivered almonds in 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine cabbage, onions, water chestnuts & pineapple in a bowl.

Mix together the dressing ingredients in separate bowl.

Just before serving, mix dressing with cabbage mixture & add sesame seeds, almonds & crushed Ramen noodles.

Option: Add cooked diced or shredded chicken breast.
