Cheesy Hash Browns

  • 4 c. shredded hash browns
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • 3/4 c. half-n-half
  • 1 T. butter
  • 1/4 c. seasoned bread crumbs
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. bacon, cooked and chopped (optional)

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Place hash browns in a 9"x9" baking dish. Arrange cheese slices over hash browns. Pour half-n-half evenly into pan. Melt butter in microwave; mix bread crumbs into melted butter. Distribute bread crumb mixture over ingredient in the pan. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and bacon. Bake for 40 minutes until top is golden brown.
