Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter (no substitute) softened
  • 3/4 C flour
  • 1 C sugar
  • 3 rounded tablespoons cocoa
  • smidgen of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 C chopped pecans
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 box confectioners sugar
  • 3 heaping tablespoons cocoa
  • 3 T cream or warm milk
  • 1 bag miniature marshmallows

Preparation

Step 1

Sift together flour, sugar, cocoa and salt.

To soft butter add eggs. Sift in dry ingredients and beat well. Add pecans.

Pour into greased and floured 9 inch square pan.

Bake 20-25 min in 325 oven. While brownies are cooking make icing

Icing:

Melt butter, stir in conf. sugar and cocoa. Add cream and stir constantly as mixture heats.

When brownies are done and still piping hot, top with 1 bag miniature marshmallows while cake is still in pan. Quickly drizzle hot icing back and forth.

Allow to cool completely, then cover with foil. Set aside, still in pan for 24 hours
