Ingredients
- 2 28 oz can peeled tomatoes
- 2 T. olive oil
- 1 1/2 C. chopped yellow onion
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 15 oz cans tomato sauce
- 3 T. tomato paste
- 2 C. water
- 1 tsp sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Place tomatoes in large bowl and squeeze to break into small pieces. Set aside.
In heavy pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions, garlic, salt, basi, oregano and pepper. Cook until soft (5 min) Add tomato paste, sauce, tomatoes, water, sugar and stir well. Bring to simmer and cook uncovered for 45 min.
