Ingredients
- 3 lb. salmon fillet
- Olive oil
- Kosher salt
- Fresh black pepper
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp. packed light brown sugar

Step 1
Arrange rack in the upper third of the oven and preheat to 425°F
Place salmon on a foil lined baking sheet, lightly brush with oil and season generously with salt and pepper. Roast salmon until just cooked thru, about 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine vinegar, water, lemon juice and brown sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened and reduced to glaze. Carefully transfer salmon to a platter. Spoon glaze over the top. Serve hot or at room temperature.
