  • 1 small pinion, diced
  • 1 1/2 tsp jarred minced garlic
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes and green chiles, drained
  • 1 (4.5 oz) can chopped green chiles, undrained
  • 1 C milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt free Mexican seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • 2 lbs white American cheese, sliced
  • Tortilla chips

Step 1

Place onion in a medium size microwave safe bowl; cover loosely with heavy duty plastic wrap. Microwave at high for 2 minutes.

Combine onion, garlic, and next 5 ingredients in a 4 quart slow cooker. Tear cheese slices into large pieces. Add cheese to slow cooker, stirring until blended.

Cover and cook on low for 2 hours(do not over cook). Stir before serving, keep warm.
